Setting Sort Order of Y-Axis of a Ribbon Chart (Not Perfect, But Works)

Learn how to change the sort order on a Power BI ribbon (or any other) chart.

The default order of a ribbon chart is to stack the values for each point on the x-axis from lowest at the bottom to highest at the top. This may not always be how you want to see the data. You might want to see it stacked from the lowest value at the bottom to the highest at the top. 

In this video, I explain a workaround that kind of works, but isn't perfect for every situation. I'll explain why in the video.
